Looking to become a Community Youth Representative?

One of Métis Youth British Columbia's (MYBC) goals this year is to ensure that there is one (1) Community Youth Representative for each of the thirty-eight (38) Chartered Communities across the province. To encourage this level of youth involvement, MYBC will be hosting an Annual Youth Meeting (AYM) for the seven (7) Regional Métis Youth Representatives and thirty-eight (38) Community Métis Youth Representatives at the 2018 Annual General Meeting on September 14th – 16th, 2018!

The AYM will provide an opportunity for Métis youth to create a provincial-wide network, learn about Métis governance and culture! All travel expenses will be covered by Métis Nation British Columbia.

Invitations have been emailed to all recent Community Youth Representatives. But we still have three (3) Chartered Communities without a Community Youth Representative. If you belong to one of the Communities listed below, and you are interested in becoming a Community Youth Representative, please connect with Paris Grover at pgrover@mnbc.ca:

- Merrit: Nicola Valley & District Métis Society
- Quesnel: North Cariboo Metis Association
- Chetwynd: Moccasin Flats Metis Society

If your Chartered Community is not listed above, but you do not have a Community Youth Representative, please connect with Paris Grover at pgrover@mnbc.ca. We will continue to update/post the list of vacancies, as needed.

All registration packages are due by August 10th, 2018.
